This is a song about how man's ego inevitably gets in the way of any success he may have in an attempt to make the world a better place. Policial leaders delude themselves into believing that they have power that they really don't and end up making their children (and grandchildren) foot the bill for their mistakes and poor choices. They truly believe they are more important than they are and it hurts everybody who put them into their position and future generations who didn't.

Social leaders are slowly losing their (good and bad) influence because people are getting fed up with the collateral damage being created as a result of their hatred and violence-thank you newscasters for trying to manipulate the truth.

Media figures, including performers and entertainers, are some of the worst people to have as examples what what to do and be, and yet because people look at them as idols and heroes, they are the ones shaping our future, whether they realize it or not.

There is no accountability on any level for any of these people. They never have to pay the price for what damage they've done to people. The worst part? Now people are so confused and disillusioned, they aren't even seeing the world as having the value of a place worth living in, let alone fighting for. Everybody has started to see life as a self-centered experience because anything else is a waste of time.

This song is begging people to get back on track in their perspective when it comes to humanity and social, moral obligations we have towards each other.
