A place in this world is about the ups and downs of life, and trying to find out who you are and where you belong in this world. In those sentences, she means that all she knows is that she's gonna have to figure herself out on her own, by herself, and she knows that along the way there will be good things and bad happening, but just because she makes a mistake doesn't mean the whole world stops.
